Webster Griffin are Okura’s main distributor in the UK, supplying robots to integrators and end users for any type of palletizing and de-palletizing applications.

Okura palletising robots are available in 4 models to suit every customers packing rate and budget.

Every Okura is equipped with the new OXPA “Easy Teach” system which means the end users can programme the robot themselves from the touch screen panel – with Okura’s teaching the robot every move with a joystick is a task from the past.  Thanks to OXPA creating and loading completely new palletizing pallets can be done while the robot is in production and takes only minutes.

Precise repetitive operation means that an Okura robot is ideal for handling all types of bags, boxes and crates.  There are over 30 standard gripper hands/manipulators available from Okura - all designed to work with Okura’s OXPA system.

With 360º movement an Okura can also palletise up to 6 products simultaneously onto different pallets.

Webster Griffin Standardise on Smartscan

The Smartscan series light curtain fits well into the requirements of today’s health and safety legislations covering robot automation cells.  Webster Griffin always fit Smartscan guards to the robot and pallet wrapping zones.

The dual redundancy of the light guard connects directly into the robot safety circuit.  If a person or foreign body enters the robot cell, the light guard barriers are broken which immediately cuts power to the robot, conveyors and other ancillary equipment such as pallet magazines or pallet stretch wrappers.  The equipment can only be re-started from the control panel outside the robot cell once the item/person has been removed.
